Overlook Park Subdivision will be a new subdivision on the west side of Steamboat accessed primarily through Downhill Drive and the Gloria Gossard Parkway. There will be another access built direct to US 40 across from the Sleepy Bear Mobile Home Park. Because its located in the city limits it will likely not need to go through a lengthy and uncertain annexation process. The 70 acre subdivision is planned to have 140 building lots spread over 3 different parcels. One will have small homes with rear-loaded garages on alleyways. Another parcel is designated for hilltop lots with views of Steamboat Ski Area. And the third will have nine duplex lots and two pods of light commercial development. A small grocery store in the retail/commercial site in the project which is immediately west of the West Acres Mobile Home Park would be a great addition to the development.
